Second Hand and Antique Instruments
As well as new violins I always have a good selection of second hand and antique instruments
for sale.  Most of these will be from the French and German centres of violin making dating
from the late 19th or early 20th centuries.  Prices for second hand violins start at around £40,
and the older European instruments will range in price between £300 and £1000 or more.
Some examples from my stock of antique instruments are shown below.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss your requirements and arrange a time to call in and try
a selection of instruments.
If you are looking to upgrade your current instrument I am normally able to accept instruments
in part exchange.

I am happy to lend up to three instruments to be taken out on trial at any one time.  This gives
you the opportunity to try the instruments in familiar surroundings and possibly get an opinion
from a teacher.
I have a wide range of bows and other accessories to go with the better quality instruments.
Full details can be found on the relevant pages of this site.
