Instrument Maker
Over the past thirty years I have been commissioned to make a
number of stringed instruments. Most of these are violins based on a
model by Joseph Guarnerius. Latterly I have made copies of a violin
by the 18th century English maker Richard Duke and a viola based
on an instrument by Gasparo da Salò.
Other instruments I have made to commission include acoustic
guitars and mandolins. A selection are shown in the photos below.
